Full time: Growth Manager/ Business Manager

About Art Beat: Art Beat is a 5 star rated Art School in Banashankari, Bangalore. Our unique curriculum uses technology & art to teach kids. Art Beat is a women-led organisation that empowers artists to explore their true potential both online & offline. 

 

Our primary approach is to offer safe and structured activities in age-appropriate environments where children are encouraged to learn, play, explore and discover. Our aim is to help each child realize his or her hidden potential that appears enveloped even after attending school.

 

We are looking for a passionate Growth Manager/ Business Manager who can help us build a strong community of budding artists. This role will be responsible for enrolling new students & hiring new teachers. In the last one year, Art Beat has relied on technology to scale up business from Bangalore to 7 different countries and 24 different cities. This role will have a high impact in building the business. If you are ambitious and self-driven, then you will be mentored to reach new heights! This is the role for you. 

Roles & responsibilities

  1. Maintain and develop business relationships - Make in-person/voice calls (primarily voice calls)/video calls pitches to onboard new customers for the art school. Customers include parents & other adults looking to learn art online.

  2. Collaborate with Art Beat centre head & management to grow the enrollments of students for Online & Offline art classes. 

  3. Conduct research to understand customer demands, competition in order to expand the business online & offline. 

  4. Manage outreach programmes (B2B) by reaching out to Schools, MNCs, Small & Medium businesses to conduct art workshops and programs.

  5. Develop attractive proposals for B2B (Schools, MNCs, Small & Medium businesses) to ensure that parents & students convert. 

  6. Responsible for converting all enrollment enquiries coming to Art Beat. 

  7. Work with recruitment partners/hiring portals to manage hiring, speak to candidates (teachers) and schedule interviews with the management and create a pipeline of teachers to hire. 

  8. Manage strategic tie-ups

All leads for Art Beat come via online channels. NO cold calling required. 

 

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Must be a graduate - Any background

Excellent communication skills

Must be good at maintaining rapport and interpersonal skills

Hands-on experience with Microsoft excel/word/Google sheet/Google docs

Prior experience in sales & business development is preferred
