About Art Beat: Art Beat is 13 years old Bangalore based fine arts academy. We are the highest rated art academy in Bangalore (5-star rated by 2300+ people on Google). We teach 20+ different mediums of art across short term courses, workshops, professional courses and kids classes.

We are currently hiring Fine Arts Teacher at our centre in HSR Layout, Bangalore.

​

Mandatory requirement - You should be available to work full-time at our centre for a minimum of 1 year. Please do not apply if you are not available to work offline or if you are not available to work for 1 full year.

Your job is to teach across different mediums such as sketching, acrylics, watercolors, oil painting, etc for our courses, classes, and workshops offered by Art Beat. 

We are looking for passionate teachers who can help us build a strong community of budding artists.

Minimum qualifications

1. Proficiency in Art - Must be skilled & proficient in at least 5 of the major art forms such as - Sketching, Acrylics, Watercolours, Oil painting, Texture painting, Charcoal, Resin, etc

2. Handling students - Must be comfortable to manage 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio for adults & 15:1 student-to-teacher ratio for kids. 

3. Communication - Must be a confident individual with excellent communication skills.

4. You should be available to work full-time at our centre for a minimum of 1 year.

5. Intent - Needs to have a background in Art/Fine Arts. Self-taught artists are also welcome provided you are proficient & skilled. You can apply even if you are a fresher provided you are highly skilled in different forms of art.

Roles & responsibilities

Teach adults & kids from different age groups as per the art academy curriculum.

Plan and prepare worksheets, correct artwork, and provide written & oral feedback to students

Manage day-to-day operations related to your classes, courses and workshops

Manage and plan inventory to ensure smooth operations of day-to-day classes. 

Experience in creating videos and managing posters is a must. 

Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work.​

 

Things to know

Working hours - Monday to Sunday 11 am to 7 pm. Thursday or Wednesday will be the weekly off.

Salary range

Relevant experience 25k to 30k per month for offline roles

​

Fresher/no teaching experience/not artist background - 18k to 25k per month for offline (assistant art teacher role)

Salary structure:

We have a simple and rewarding salary structure. For all employees we have a fixed plus variable pay structure. The variable salary depends upon performance on values such as Ownership, Engagement, Customer Obsession, Timeliness, etc.
