Level 2 - Portraits course

Service Description

Start your art journey with right fundamentals. This course is designed for those who already have a strong foundation in sketching. The prerequisite is that you have completed the Level 1 portrait course before taking this course. We will not be covering the basics of sketching. The focus is to go deeper in human portraits. This is a course specially curated for adults over 18 years. Course Overview Introduction to Portraits Materials, Styles & Techniques Grid Method Understanding Head Angles Male, Female & Child Portrait Studies Facial Features & Close-Up Studies Rendering Techniques Lighting & Shadows Portraiting Different Ages Final Monochrome Portrait Artwork Mediums Used Graphite pencils Charcoal Fine linersSimple composition understanding Total of 30 hours of group classes. 2 additional hour of studio sessions with studio access. 15 weeks - Attend 2 hours per week. Choose any one day of the week. 7 weeks - Attend 4 hours per week. Choose any 2 days of the week. (Please note, you cannot choose both Sat & Sun in the 5 weeks course) You can choose an easy pace or a fast pace. Easy pace - 2 masterpieces. For those who want to take it easy and slow and enjoy the process. Fast pace - 3 masterpieces. For those looking to do more in less time. Timeslots - Everyday 11.30 am - 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm - 4.30 pm, 5 pm to 7 pm Includes Materials kit for the respective medium Study materials 30 hours (15 classes) 15-week course, 15-week validity starting from your first session. 7-week course, 8-week validity starting from your first session. Course completion certificate Please note This is a group class. We do not have 1:1 sessions Please note that we do not teach portraits in any of the beginner courses You must choose your reference images for the masterpiece in the first session.
